This piece "The Doughnut" is a picture frame made of yellow pine, awning posts recovered from attic of a house in south. They are approximately 100 years old and have been sitting in the attic for decades.

The house was deconstructed in fall of 2011 by ReUse Action (reuseaction.com) and most of lumber – joists, rafters, flooring, etc… were sold to become new residential floors and such. These awning posts were initially debris until we had an idea to turn them into crafts.

I have very little of this wood but have the crews on the lookout for more.
